Uhm, they used to have a system where you didn’t have keys to copy/paste. Instead, the games would be added to the linked Steam account, if so desired. This was done to prevent abuse in which people sent or resold a key to a 3rd party. However, the gifting system was still in it, so the linking was quite redundant even when it was launched.
